Hummm...it works.

My eyes do look very green. So--it's true. You can take a green eyeshadow and put it in the crease. This is MAC Silly Goose shadow...it's quite sheer so the effect is subtle. I put some in the crease and blended it up above the crease.

The lid color is MAC Samoa Silk--that same orange.

I think this would work with any green and any orange or peach shadow. I have not tried it with pink or rose yet, that's for tomorrow.

sigh I checked out the other MAC greens while I was at it. Now I want all of them.

Humid...it is very dark. It might be too dark for this look. There was Juxt. Similar to Silly Goose but shimmery and actually less yellow.

I think you could get a more intense effect by using a stronger green actually. The key is just that. Put a peach color on the lid to "buffer" the green shadow from your eyes.

Another thing I'm trying...I finally got MAC Blot. Worth it?

So far, yes. It's finer than my Almay Oil Blotting, much finer. Seems to work better too.

The experimental part is trying to keep my MAC Cream Colour Base from creasing. I put down a layer of Blot before putting down the base. I'll know by this afternoon...
