I bought Revlon Blackberry today.
Its a nice, respectable red. Pretty. Reminds alot of Bobbi Brown Cranberry Stain but not anywhere near as sheer.

Compared to Deep Chili, its several shades cooler. I'd also say its got a pinker more berry base than DC. Its less intense in your face red as DC, subtler yet still very red. Cool but not screamin' bright cool. DC is a strange color on me. Its obviously brown based in the tube and when I first apply it. Yet after its on my lips for a few moments the brown base disappears and I'm left with an intense rich, deep, dark almost blood red. Fresh blood red, not old blood red. ACK! Thats kinda a nasty comparison but its true.

The more I've worn Blackberry today the more I like it. I can't wear it alone w/o other makeup it. Once I applied TM, mascara and eyeliner I liked it better. I've also rediscovered how well green eyeliner and red lipstick go together. Blackberry also wears down quite prettily. After I'd eaten lunch I checked my lips and it had left a lovely pinky, rosey reddish stain.
Do I like it? Yes.
Do I need it. No.
Am I glad I purchased it? Yeah. I don't know how often I'll wear it, but it was only $5.96 at WM and I've been wanting to try it. My curiosity is satisfied.
