Okay here are my findings so far.
MAC Blot pressed powder. Why did I wait so long?
I tried it yesterday. Completely superior, if you have oily skin or oily T-zone. Best pressed powder (or powder, generally) I've ever tried. Well. well worth the $16 price tag (0.42 oz.).
This is "medium" and it fits. I just asked the SA what shade I'd be. As always, she had just the right answer.
Did Blot make the Cream Colour Base, creaseless?
I tried putting a layer of Blot before applying this from lashline to brow.
Answer: no. My eyeshadow stayed uncreased longer, and creased less. But at the end of the day--definite creasing.
Conclusion: Cream Colour Base ...I would not buy it unless you can wear cream eyeshadows.
It's also possible the MAC Paints would work as a base under it, but that's another expense and more work. Imo too much work. It's possible a regular eyeshadow base would do the trick.
Silly Goose is an interesting shadow, the more I look at it. It's green, of course, but it has a lot of gold and brown in it too. Good if you want green without a lot of blue.
It is very nice with a peach/orange lid. Today I'm trying it with a rose lid, MAC Swish. It's surprisingly good. I did the crease first and then the lid.
