Hello...
The year is coming to a close and I realize, I haven't written anything here in a long time.
Mostly, nothing is new. My skin has settled down as much as it's going to...with me taking my multi-vitamin daily (I'm using the same TwinLab Daily One Caps, see below for more information), a modified diet--mostly poultry and seafood and green salads. No regular beef. And I'm still on Yasmin birth control pills.
On top of this, for the past few nights I've returned to using jojoba oil on my face as a night treatment.
It's really simple to do. You put a few drops--2 or 3 will do it--in the center of your palm. You then apply the oil all over your face in a thin layer, using the fingertips of the other hand.
Give it a minute or two to sink in, then blot off any excess with a tissue.
This helps unclog pores. I stopped doing it for a while because I was trying other things, but it does work, particularly if you've managed to get your skin pretty clear already.
Another thing. MAC Blot pressed powder. I don't rave much about powders, but this one is truly worth the extra money (it's $16.50). Pat on a decent layer of this in the morning, and your face stays nice and matte all day. Far superior to anything else I've tried.
That's about it.
I'll give the jojoba oil a few more nights to kick in fully. My skin is already better with the oil than without it.
