lol! My old man would have a coronary if I wore a thong and it showed. :) It's not for me, but I for one don't think it looks trashy.

I think because...I see things differently. It has to do with Iran. Iran is like an extreme example...you might as well try Afghanistan...but it's an extreme version of how some people still think. Some people still think there's something sinful about women's bodies. We're behind Europe...they have topless beaches, right? And it's not a big deal over there.

So generally, I think it's not only okay for women to be sexy, I think we're morally obligated to be sexy at least some of the time. It's not to please men. Well if men had their way, I doubt we'd be wearing anything at all. :) I think we can be sexy for ourselves.

I am just babbling now. :)

I think I know what kind you mean. I think of them as boy shorts. I like them, they're nice. They should work with the pants too, because they're cut low on top.

You can tell if your jeans fit, by looking at your butt in a mirror. If the butt fits, then everything is right. I'm wearing these J.Crew jeans today...they do sink below my belly button. But they're not loose otherwise so, that's how they're supposed to be.

If you need to shrink them, I'd go conservative the first time...start with a warm water wash and put them in the dryer. That'll already shrink them some.

If they're still too big, I'd go with a hot water wash and dry the living hell out of them at high heat. That's extreme though. That's only if the first, regular wash and dry doesn't work.

But I'm guessing you're just not used to wearing low-rise jeans. Give 'em a chance. :)
