Hummm...I put everything on the bed. Then I stand on the bed (you can see my shoes in one of the pics) and take the picture that way.

One trick I've seen in magazines, is they take a picture of the clothes on a model. Then they erase out the model from the pic. That imo is too much work. It does give a good idea of how the clothes look on though.

Sheesh! I would say you're doing well if you can fit a size 12. Keep in mind though--different brands fit entirely differently. I've got these Guess jeans and they're cut for an hourglass type figure. Gap and Old Navy, are cut quite differently.

I'm not sure what is my favorite brand. The Guess ones are sexy. The Levi's are probably the most androgynous ones I have...they're like the older style of jeans. Something like J.Crew or Express falls in between.
