Ok, I went shopping today and was a good girl. I only let myself buy stuff that was on sale and on my "to buy" list. Soooo... I got a black turtleneck because the one I have now is falling apart and I'm sick of mending it. It comes undone where the turtleneck is sewn to the sweater and I'm not good enough at sewing to mend it without it showing. And yes, I use black thread to sew it back up. So I got a new one for 25$CAN. I almost got a camel one too but it wasn't on the list and I figured if I was to spend 25$ on something, it wasn't going to be a camel turtleneck. I had to get the black turtleneck in medium too because they were out of smalls. It's a stretchy style so it hugs my body almost like a small would have but the sleeves are little longer (they reach a little past my wrists) and it hits a little lower on my hips. Quite acceptable. And I can always try to shrink it.

I also finally found my mod skirt! I tried on a 5 and 7 and they both fit but I decided to get the 7 because I can sit it a little lower on my hips to make it a bit longer. Anyway, it hits at about mid-thigh and I got the green one. Green like the inside of an avocado. It's a blend of wool (70%), nylon (20%), and cashmere (10%) and it cost me 30$CAN! I really like that price because who knows when I'll get tired of such a short skirt and such a colour... I was already wearing the falling apart black turtleneck and black tights today (with the olive cord skirt, mind you) so I got a good idea of how the skirt would look in real life. Looks great with black but a white or grey turtleneck would work too. And I have this lavender-pink turtleneck that I think would look very cute too. Very colourful but cute. Actually anything in the purple or pink family might work. I'm going to have loads of fun with this skirt :)

And that's all! Overall very happy with my purchases and very happy I stuck to sale items that were on my list...
