Good grief! I feel as if I'm emerging from under a rock.
It's been three months, basically, since we've added new content to this site.
We had to do it that way. We acquired another site and then had to add features to it:
The Lipstick Page Forums.
I set aside the entire quarter for that project and it took the entire quarter to get it going.
How bout some fashion chat?
The MAGS this year sucked. MAGS is one of my secret sources of clothes...heh heh...well this year it was pretty bad. I got a few things but nothing to jump up and down over.
One thing I really love though--my Doc Martens sandals. :)
They are not overly expensive actually, around $40.
Once I tried them, I don't think I've worn anything else.
That and I found a cool bracelet...it's made out of little turtles carved out of some sort of red-brown stone.
It's handmade...and there is something to be said for handmade jewelry.
I have two other handmade pieces...there's something different about them. One is a choker that's made out of vintage glass beads, in shades of pinky-orange and smoked quartz.
I mean who would even think of combining these colors? But it works.
The bracelet to go with it is made out of pink vintage glass beads, little faceted grey crystals, and little rose quartz beads.
Pink and grey...
I think I'm almost out of my jewelry phase. I like buying it but not all the time...just adding on a piece now and again.
