I'm here! I suppose I am "doing" some of this Fall's fashions. I have that poncho that you already know about... And I got some cropped jackets (one red and one beige). Plus, the leather jacket I got last Spring is actually in the right style for this year (short blazer style). But I don't call all this "doing" Fall fashion. Why? Tweed, corduroy, wool, plaid, they *always* come back in the Fall. From year to year, you just get a selection of classic Fall stuff and very little really new and innovative things. I still love Fall fashion. It's cozy, fun, elegant...
Uh, I really don't have that much more to say... I've been looking for a pretty flower pin but the only nice ones cost way too much. That's my problem with accessories. I have a hard time paying for them...

Where the heck are you guys?????
Hmmm...I went through a phase of first liking my 515's, then of being disappointed, then of liking them again. It could simply be a matter of breaking them in.
I should say, Levi's were the gold standard of jeans in the 1970's. That's also why I went through a phase of being disappointed. I felt the quality had gone down. I suppose it has some, but then it is premature to judge. The question is, how long will these jeans last?
I have some Guess? jeans that are (knock wood) seemingly indestructible. The color has faded nicely but the material and stitching are still perfect. That is how jeans used to be. At some point--I can't pinpoint it--jeans started falling apart after only a few years.
shrugs I suppose that is all part of our disposable culture. The jeans cost less but then we're expected to replace them more frequently than before.
So what is up with you guys? Are you "doing" any of this year's fall fashions?
I've switched over, finally, to cold weather clothes. For me that means wearing my Doc Martens boots instead of my DM sandals and getting out my turtlenecks and other l/s shirts.
I have my padded suede jacket out (too lazy to dig around for anything else). I had this up in Washington State. It's a sort of baseball style jacket, it's dark blue and a sort of caramel brown (looks better than it sounds).
That's really about it. It hasn't gotten horribly cold yet.

Well I'm having fun over here. :)
The funny part...the second pair of the 515's fits differently than the first. Different rinses, exact same size, but different fit. *cough*outsourcing*cough*
The first pair fits perfectly. The second, I fried it in the dryer to shrink it. Yet it's still slightly big. I don't care overly much, since you can make pants look good by wearing a belt, up until the point that you're wearing reallllly big pants...it's just odd since they're supposed to be exactly the same size.
They are really, really comfortable though. And they do look nice.
