Some observations

I've been wearing my handmade jewelry on and off over the past month and a half or so. Basically I didn't want to keep cranking out stuff until I'd had a while to let it all sink in.
Plus, I was feeling a little burned out over it. Making jewelry...coming up with the designs, finding the beads, and actually making it...is an intensive process. Mind you I like it. But it can become expensive both in terms of material and labor. So it's well to get a feel for your style, your individual stamp, your signature...what you make...and that takes time.
So far I'll say my favorite necklace is my oval turquoise bead one. I think because I've never seen oval turquoise beads worn by anyone. I've seen many a turquoise chip, chunk, even round beads, but oval is scarce.
So, I'd like to make some more pieces using oval turquoise beads.
Earrings...I like the ones I have, but I'm also thinking in terms of smaller, simpler designs. As much as I like my elaborate ones, I do not always feel like wearing elaborate earrings.
I have yet to make a decent bracelet. Part of that may be because I prefer bangles to bracelets...but it's something I should do.
