Bracelets

This is one of those glass bracelets they make in India.

Looking at it closely...what I love is how they made beautiful blue beads out of what had to be, essentially, rubbish. Recycled glass.

This is carnelian. The red color goes with just about everything.

What's good about this one...the entire design is comprised of four simple gold wires.

This one is handmade. It is pink vintage glass beads, rose quartz beads, and these odd grey crystal beads.

Aside from the colors, what makes it interesting is how she figured out the design first. It has an overall symmetrical design; it is not just a series of beads.

This is my favorite, along with the pink one above. It is also handmade.

The turtles are carved out of this red-brown stone. I don't know what it is. The texture of the stone is smooth and comforting. The clasp is really fancy, I should have taken a picture of it. :) It's adjustable too.

I got this one at a stand at one of those California fairs.

It's moonstones...I've decided I like that stone.
