These are great.

They're a little tricky to wear; it's well to don something frilly and feminine (or spare and daring!) to offset the innate masculinity of this boot. But what the heck. It's like wearing lipstick and blush with a hat that covers your hair and would otherwise make you appear boyish.

The truly worthwhile quality--I am a notorious abuser of shoes, I wear them in rain, mud, I have been known to start digging weeds with a shovel without changing into crappy footwear--is that they are durable. And warm. And next to waterproof.
