Tip for washing girls' dresses

This is for those dresses that have ties on them. It's a good idea to put such dresses inside laundry bags before tossing them into the washer. I had one where the ties managed to wrap themselves tightly around the bottom of the agitator. I was afraid I'd have to cut the ties to get the dress off the bottom of the washer. Luckily I managed to get the ties loose but from now on, I use the laundry bags.
