This is pretty cool...

KimberlyKnits' Purls Of Wisdom

It's not a knitting blog, at least from what I read. What's relevant to this blog is her "The Hunt For The Perfect Lipstick" series of posts. She has a mixed bag up, from Paula Dorf to Playboy Beauty to Anna Sui to Wild & Crazy, all thoughtfully reviewed.

On a side note, the perfect lipstick can be one of Earth's most elusive creatures...also the reason why discontinuing said perfect lipstick can produce trauma. It's not "merely" finding the ideal color, no, no, no...the texture must also be perfect, as well as the scent and flavor, the staying power, the smear factor, the moisture factor, the price and availability, the packaging, how long the lipstick keeps, et cetera.

Kimberly M. even details the shape of the top of the bullet, which is impressive...it's a factor, but often overlooked in lipstick reviews.
