Beauty Notes: Brushes for Charity

Posted by Dain, Thursday, October 04, 2007 3:32 AM (Eastern)

If you haven't invested in good brushes by now, do consider this brush set from Sonia Kashuk, a mere $19.99. Everything you need. All proceeds go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. (I just read in Allure that Kashuk, whose family has a history of the disease, was recently diagnosed and had a double mastectomy—crazy.)

That is so cool! I use her blush brush myself...it's lasted for years, zero shedding, keeps its shape, nicely tapered...

My sole gripe with the sets is I think they should include the large eyeshadow brush, not necessarily the small and medium ones...her large e/s brush is my go-to shadow brush, you can even do light creases with it (turn it sideways) as well as the more obvious washes and lid application. But you can do with the small & medium, and just get the large one on the side.

Me too. I use the blush brush and the small shadow brush (for detail work). Really haven't found a blush brush with the exact shape, softness, and fluff of SK, either.
