Posted by Dain, Tuesday, November 06, 2007 1:21 AM (Eastern) I'm going to try to write "serious stuff" for a bit, as my creativity is somewhat exhausted by Color Theory (part 1) and Color Theory (part 2). And I'm not sure where to go next in An Array Ecumenical—I may get much use out of espadrilles and have never owned a boot to no great diminishment of happiness, but how does that work for the majority? I don't know. I beg some time to think it over rather than advise wrongly (who cares? I care.) Meanwhile, the song I'm currently obsessed with:
Lay across my big brass bed Lay lady lay Lay across my big brass bed Whatever colors you have in your mind I'll show them to you And you'll see them shine Lay lady lay Lay across my big brass bed Stay lady stay Stay with your man awhile Until the break of day Let me see you make him smile His clothes are dirty But his hands are clean And you're the best thing that he's ever seen Stay lady stay Stay with your man awhile Why wait any longer for the world to begin? You can have your cake and eat it too Why wait any longer for the one you love? When he's standing in front of you Lay lady lay Lay across my big brass bed Stay lady stay Stay while the night is still ahead I long to see you in the morning light I long to reach for you in the night Stay lady stay Stay while the night is still ahead ![]() Labels: administrative, culture notes, music |

November 6, 2007 1:55 AM,
Bob Dylan, man!
I remember that song when it came out...it was so different from his other work, I didn't know it was Bob Dylan for a long time. It had this odd, rich country feel.
November 6, 2007 2:30 AM,
Love, love, love him.
