I read elsewhere that this was a suitable copycat of Dr. Hauschka's lip balm, which I love best of all, except this is $5.

Absolutely absurd price for a single eyeshadow, but otherwise I have no complaints. The compact is grandiose for such a modest rectangle of pigment, the texture is exquisitely fine, like silk, so blending is almost a non-issue. But it's the color that got me.

For the price, the performance is excellent, it blends smoothly, covers decently, and lasts well enough. The color range has lately been expanded (the formula, I should add, is the same as the more expensive TruBlend), but I'm not sure how widely they are distributed. Here are the qualities that make a perfect cleanser:
(1) it does not abrade the skin in any way, leaving it feeling stripped—using a harsh cleanser is worse for your skin than skipping sunscreen
(2) and yet, it should be rinse cleanly, leaving no residue on the skin
(3) if possible, it should remove makeup completely

No. 19 is, in my humble opinion, the most beautiful of the Chanel perfumes. It is also the most unapproachable, with its austere combination of aggressive galbanum and cold rooty iris. This is my first Aubrey Organics product, and as the brand name implies, it is all natural, so there are no silicones to beef up the texture of the formula.
