Pros: Cheap (very), mild, removes makeup, no breakouts
Cons: Might not work for dry skin

Update: 2008-07-05

I recently switched from this to Dr. Hauschka products: http://thebroadroom.net/reviewpost/showcat.php?mcats=3&si=&si1=Dr.+Hauschka&what=manufac&name=&when=&whenterm=&dist=&radius=

It's a fairly dramatic price increase up front, but I'll have to say the Hauschka products last a long time, and have been better for my oily/combo, acne-prone skin.

If you have good skin, you may still wish to give this a shot.

Original review:

The price is for the Costco version--two big bottles (56 oz).

I've been using this to wash my face with for years and yes, it has been reviewed to death on beauty boards. But if you're new to it, it's well worth a try.

It is likely too drying for dry skin. For anything along the lines of combo/oily, it is truly ideal.

It has a faint, pleasant fragrance. It is not heavily perfumed the way some baby products are.

This is fantastic stuff. It's mild, effective, supercheap. You get a nice big pump bottle of gentle foaming cleanser that lasts. It's the same product (ingredient for ingredient) as Purpose Facial Cleanser, but it's much cheaper! It's got a soft, light, floral scent, even if you don't like it (I do), it's light enough not to be bothersome.

You can use it, not just to clean babies all over or as a cleanser, but as a body wash, brush cleanser, pet shampoo, delicates detergent, pretty much anything that requires gentle but effective cleansing.

It's good for skin types from normal to combination to oily. I used to use it religiously. I've stopped because my skin is dry now, but it's highly recommended.
