This stuff claims any number of things, from tightening to lightening undereye circles (with caffeine as an ingredient), none of which I've noticed. Of course, as yet, the only thing I have is a little bit of darkness, but I don't see any lightening effects. What this is a nice, light eye cream—more a gel-cream—that serves as a nice base under makeup. It's got a smooth texture and dries to a sleek, powdery finish (much like EL's Advanced Night Repair eye cream, the one in the brown jar). If you're looking for a solution for dryness, wrinkles, darkness, and puffy eyes (the last is what I think it's supposed to really treat, but not possessing any, I can't vouch for it), this isn't it. This is meant to be a base under makeup, and in that regard, performs exactly as it should.
I wouldn't purchase it again, most likely, because I like a bit more moisture. This one is a bit dry.
UPDATE: I've discovered this makes my eyes itch. It took me a while to figure out, because I thought it might be my eyeliner (and I wasn't going to give up NARS Cleo!) or mascara, and in any case, it was a very mild irritation. But that decides it. I will not be purchasing this again.

I'm on my fourth or fifth tube of Fast Response and I love it. I took away one point because it doesn't moisturize. Apart from that, this cream has helped me a lot. I tend to get very dry, red, itchy irritated lids. When that happens, I use Fast Response in the morning and shea butter at night. The shea butter gives me the moisture my lids need to get better. The Fast Response soothes the itchiness and allows me to apply makeup.
