This is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant. It won't prevent perspiration, just negate any odors.
I cannot use antiperspirants, as I'm allergic to the aluminum compounds in them (the chemicals responsible for blocking sweat pores), which is unfortunate, but there's not much I can do about it. In any case, I like this product. I don't really have that much expertise on deodorants, but this works well. It neutralizes odors, and has a neat, fresh scent, not cloying and perfume-y, very natural. I believe it's meant to be unisex.
I'll try other brands, simply because I haven't experimented any, but this is quite a decent product.
