Pros: really, really good eyeliner brush
Cons: a tad spendy

Fourteen dollars is what I paid for it; this was several years ago, so it might be somewhat more now.

If you line your eyes with powder eyeshadow--it's easy, if you've never done it--this is a great brush to have. It's next to effortless; you simply dab the brush lightly on the shadow's surface, position it (it has a super hard, super thin, angled head) against your lashline, dab a couple times...you're done.

Some folks like to line with a wet brush (water or Visine), but I never found it necessary.

Now, do you need to line with powder eyeshadow? Maybe not. I have shadows to line with, and I don't always use them, in favor of the quicker, easier eyepencil liner.

On the other hand, having an eyeliner brush can help you get more--sometimes much more--use out of your darker eyeshadows. And some shadows make unique liners (for example, the deep purple shade of Nars "Babylon" duo, or Milani "Marooned" eyeshadow).

Worth the investment? For me, definitely yes. It is not worth even trying to line with shadow unless you have a decent brush. This one has lasted many a washing without shedding a single hair, and has kept its shape perfectly.
