What makes this scent interesting is the sheer breadth of notes. It is completely unlike my beloved Givenchy Organza in that it is not sweet, spicy, woody, etc.
The listed notes literally play like a chord...you "hear" the high, sweet top notes...the fruitiness...at the same time as a heavy band of the middle notes...the florals (the rose stands out here)...and the base notes: musky, with something that is definitely not sweet (I'll guess it's the white amber).
In short, rather than being purely sweet or purely not-sweet, the scent plays the full range of notes.
I think you would like this scent if complexity is what you're looking for. It's definitely a grown-up's scent, more "your mama's perfume" than "your perfume."
And if you dislike overly sweet, simplistic scents, this may also appeal to you.
GF Ferre Lei/Her lasts well. I have the EDT and this lasts respectably all day (I hate scents that don't last!), without having to use copious amounts of the stuff.
