Tarnish is a blackened green and makes a great alternative to black liner. I don't usually wear very dark liner so this doesn't get a lot of use but I still think it's a colour most people could use.
I've also found this colour is particularly creamy, even for a MAC eye khol. Colour is deposited with the slightest touch. It helps me get a very thin, subtle line but I also often end up putting colour where I don't want it. The extra creaminess might also bother some people: it makes the pencil smudgier than your other khols. I don't mind that but YMMV...
