I had a hard time deciding on a rating for this. The texture is much like the Cover Girl Eye Slicks: a bit gel-like, smooth, easy to apply. The pencil is about the same size too: chubby so it's hard to get a thin line. The colour is nice too: a light shimmery yellow-cream, great for lining the lower lashes.
The one problem I have with these pencils is that they shrink as they get old (it took a year ot two). I suppose it's just that they lose their moisture and kind of shrivel up. The texture is still fine for applying so that's not the problem. It's that the coloured inside part ends being thinner than the outside part's hole so it comes loose and the coloured inside part just slides out. It then becomes very hard to use. I threw one out because of this. Champagne Chill is still holding on so I'm keeping it. I wouldn't repurchase this though. For a cheap thrill of this type, the Cover Girl is better.
