High-end snobs might dismiss its drugstore pedigree.
A pretty, warm, medium rose. Applied lightly, I can wear it on a naked face for a touch of color. A heavier coat is a lovely shimmer of rose that can be worn with a wine or brown colored eye. This is a day or night staple and worth a try, as it should work for those with warm or cool skin tones. (Also try a dab on the cheekbones and blend, if you are caught without blush.)

Revlon lipsticks are great, and oft overlooked. This is a classic, a diamond in the rough (though, with Revlon lipsticks, one wonders: what "rough"?), a great underdog of the beauty boards.
Dune Rose (great name) is just really pretty. A sophisticated rose, with muting shimmer like beigey gold, perhaps almost silvery, but sufficiently reddened to be blushing. It's glamourous but demure. I tend to think of it as a color that brides ought to wear on their wedding day. It's a color that ought to look good on everyone. It's also very close (but not as fabulous) to Nars Flair lipstick, if anyone is interested.
