Pros: the best deep conditioner, smells great and it's cheap
Cons: none

I am not sure of the exact cost of this conditioner, because I haven't had to purchase it separately yet. I've been using the ones that come with the Feria haircolor kits.

If you're in the market for a deep conditioner though, may I heartily recommend this product. It is carried by Sallys Beauty Supply.

You don't have to follow the directions on the tube. It tells you to use half the tube right after you color, but a.) that's far and away too much and b.) you can use it any time you please.

I do tend to use it right after I color http://broadroom.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif because normally my hair is never so dry. I wash my hair, squeeze out excess moisture, then rub in just enough of the conditioner to coat all of my hair...let it sit for a while and then rinse thoroughly.

Before I discovered this (thanks to the raves on beauty forums), I used Alberto VO5 Hot Oil treatment. This is better than the Alberto and much less hassle to use.

Update (1/24/2005):

Hey, I bought this separately, finally! Someone used up the tubes I'd collected from the kits...grumble...

It's $7 for a rather large tube of the stuff at Sallys Beauty Supply...I've barely dented it.

An excellent product, an excellent buy.
