I hope I didn't muck with the board setup when I clicked to have a calendar entry! I saw it there and couldn't resist.You know I'm a software tester; I have an urge to test the functionality!  What does it do? Who will see this? Will we get a reminder?

Josie said in one of her posts "Cool that you got the calender thing... something", but I'm still not sure what it does. I think Josie and we all will find out whether it does something or nothing besides the extra icon.
I started checking small things as soon as the board moved. I can troubleshoot more stuff, if you have any particular problem areas, esp. during the weekdays. My work connection is much faster than the one from here

Software testing is good. 
I myself have no idea what happens on the actual day of the event.  It is on the calendar...if you click the Calendar link on the menu, you'll see it.
What happens on the day itself...wait and see. It's either nothing or else a cake appears and someone jumps out

There is a setting to put birthdays on the calendar.
A word of caution though. If you use your real (full) name on the Net, and you give your birthday, it is possible for identity theft to occur.
That said, I can change the setting if everyone would like that.

Lazy, lazy tester... I haven't clicked everywhere yet!
Nancy, I'll put my birthday on the calendar, and it will be set to a fixed value of "27" EVERY year!
