We just subscribed to netflix! Its like a whole new world has opened up to me!!! Movies! To your door! Dont even have to leave the house! ohhhh and the selection! THE SELECTION!!!! Its just unbelievable. Isn't it something like 80,000 movies to choose from? Our queue is a mile long, LOL! We sat and watched all 3 of our selections yesterday, in one day and shipped them off for more today. Yes, My name is Carol. I live in a very tiny town. I don't get out much! LOL!
I've gotten back into making jewelry, after being away from it for a few months.
I'd like to work with better materials now...it's interesting. There are tons of suppliers for less expensive materials, but it's much harder to find suppliers on the Net for better materials.
My theory is that the burst of less-expensive suppliers occurred at the same time as the beading "fad" itself, a few years ago. Meaning these newer merchants are more Net-savvy.
The older suppliers are about ten years behind Net-wise...a lot of them don't etail. You still have to call to place an order, or go through a catalog. Many of them don't do much with email. And so forth...it's hard even to find them.
The best deals for metals are from refineries, but if you buy anything from a refinery, you have to give them personal information, because of the Patriot Act. It's really weird.
Anyhow, from the beginning I figured it would take two or three years to get the hang of it. Now I think it takes the full three years.

I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but I've been watching anime. Bleach. The Japanese make fun of it too, maybe the way we make fun of our pop culture. I forget the word, otake? Dunno. The strangest thing is how much you pick up just by watching...
-mateo, wait -shinji, truth, belief -jutsu, technique -uruse, shut up -wakkate, ok -baka, idiot (bakamono seems to be a stronger form) -ghozo, boy, perjorative -shini, death -mina, everyone -atashi wa, I
Weird, huh? Maybe it is useful, if I ever want to learn Japanese.
Reading, Confederacy of Dunces, The Tent (short stories by Margaret Atwood), not much really. I usually read all the time, but I got sick of school, sick of reading, so it's been quiet of late.
Just been blogging a lot lately. ; )
