Anyone have suggestions...
#80153 - 10/04/07 07:00 AM

I need ("need", now that is an interesting way of putting it) to get a new perfume. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I tend to like fragrances that are "clean" - citrusy backgrounds, maybe a light floral. Nothing with musk or too heavy. I like FCUK, for example. And I just finished my Kate Spade. Anyone have any suggestions? Stac

Annick Goutal L'Eau d'Hadrien, or possibly Prada's new Infusion d'Iris (it was too simple for me, but I really like them heavy)? I don't know what Kate Spade smells like, but these two are very clean, one more citrusy, the other floral. Or what is that really popular citrus... hmm... Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue?

Black hair, light golden-undertoned skin, dark brown eyes. Asian.

I need a new perfume too!

I second Eau d'Hadrien although it is a bit different...it's very lemony, delicately sweet, a little bit of herbs. It's supposed to be unisex but it's hard for me to imagine it on a man.

Les Nuits d'Hadrien is similar, but heavier and more complex (still not too heavy though).

If you decide to go for these, may I recommend the EDP form...the Annick Goutal EDT's I've tried have pretty bad staying power.

Green/hazel eyes, strawberryish blonde hair, medium, warmish, combination acne-prone skin. Everyday base face: tinted frankensunscreen, MAC Blot pressed powder in Medium, and Nars The Multiple in Malibu (bronzed rose).

The Fragrance by Garden Botanika

It's very green and clean. It strikes me as a summer scent but I'm a bit off heavy scents right now so I find it very wearable. Not very expensive either.

fair with a blue undertone, Origins Stay Tuned in Fair, highlighted blond hair and green hazel eyes.

Burberry Brit might be nice. It's not entirely light, but has a refreshing lime note, and it's not too sweet.

Givenchy Extravagance d'Amarige is another nice citrusy scent, lighter than the Brit.
