Today, we have officially been running the LP message board for two months.

Here are some statistics:

We have made a total of 4,465 posts (as of when I counted it).

That is an approximate average of 74 posts per day.

So, we are posting...a lot.

I am happy to say that the quality of the posts has been impressive to extraordinary. We don't have flame wars or spam so we don't need to consider our figures "padded."

We are expanding our user base slowly--which is good. One good poster is worth more than 1,000 crappy ones (okay I did not say that

).

We are managing our space and bandwidth well. We have plenty of space. I think it will be possible to expand our pic limit in the Image Library without any problem.

I am not sure if a product reviews forum will be necessary. We would be asking people to go to the trouble of posting a separate review. Products are reviewed on the boards, and the boards are completely searchable. I'm thinking of ditching the separate reviews thing altogether.

Next year should bring more *stuff* to the new LP.

This year we are concentrating on covering our costs as much as possible into the future and building up traffic.

Next year I would like to do something fun. I'm not sure yet what. Getting free makeup for review would not be bad.

Or we could have some contests.

I'm putting it for next year because we'll have more money by then and also hopefully more time.
